Okay okay...I know I have been really lazy to update my blog lately...Hong Kong was GREAT! Just that there's too many things to talk about and therefore am too lazy to talk about it here...ehehe...forgive me for my laziness ppl...Anywayz this post is about a significant event that happened to me...

Meet the Parents

Yes, that's right. I actually managed to gather my courage from god knows where to have dinner with Darren's parents. It was a dinner in Marco Polo restaurant with his parents, brother, sister-in-law, her mum, his grandmother, his aunt and uncle. So he took me back to his house after his class ended at around 5 something pm and I was freaking shit nervous and stressed out. There were people around me to witness my 'freaking out' moments; namely Darren himself, Mel, Ben, Gary...yea...was not a pleasant sight....

Anywayz throughout the whole journey back to his house I was yapping like some mad dog. I told him it's because I'll probably be the quietest person on earth in front of his parents and family. When we reached his house, I was being the sweetest, most innocent girl the world has ever seen...seriously...I wanted to puke at my sweetness...but then again I'm a nice person so...ehehe...

Then there was the journey to the restaurant. I tell you, it was the quietest I have ever been in my entire existence. Darren's brother was driving, Darren was sitting in front whereas me, his sister-in-law and her mum were in the backseat. I was so silent throughout the whole journey I swear that if you didn't know it was me, you would never have thought that quiet girl in the backseat was me. Serious! When we got down from the car, Darren was laughing his ass off at how quiet I was and that I couldn't abuse him since he was in his 'safety zone.' I made sure I got my revenge after that...lol...

Dinner was fine. Food was good and I wasn't exactly quiet...pretty noisy actually...but towards Darren only...haha...apparently we were both in our own world chatting...but hey...his whole family was there and it was like my first time...can't expect me to be my noisy self so fast right? Nothing much happened after that. I guess overall it went okay...well I survived the night!

Oh and by the way, I had dinner with his parents again few nights back...was pretty okay I guess...till the next time! Lol
