Comes the month of October...incredibly busy and incredibly crazy...also known as the Birthday Month. Why? Because I think we had like 5 people or so celebrating their birthdays this month! Talk about getting broke...lol...
Most importantly, one of them celebrating his bday is none other than my deardear...
His birthday was on the 19th of October but since we all had NUMSA (Nebraska University Malaysia Student Association) meeting on the 18th, I decided to surprise him with a cake during the meeting (of course with the consent of the others and Ms. President). So after countless of emails sent out and a trip to the 'toilet' ...
He was in shock! Sorry I don't have much pictures...The photographer *ehem ehem* failed to do her job...haha...
I was suppose to take a picture of him blowing the candle but he was fast! And his face was also all red...as in tomato red!

So the surprise ended at that and everyone was happy (I guess...). Thanks a lot guys for helping me out in this. Really appreciate your help a lot!
So the next day was his real birthday and I planned to cook dinner for him and give him his presents at the same time and planned it as a surprise thing again. During the day, I gave a 'so-what?' impression that I wasn't going to give him anything or do anything for his bday. And he fell for it...hehe...well nearly anywayz until my mum accidentaly terbocor that I actually bought a gift for him from Malaysia! Arrgghhh...oh well...
He didn't know about the dinner though and so at 5:45pm when Wei Jian got him out of the house for badminton, I started cooking with Lay Poh's help. She helped me keep the meat in her house and marinade the chicken for me the night before. Thanks a lot!! She also helped me out with the cooking here and there (I'm a noob at cooking) and I really really really appreciate it!
I was done by 6-ish and waited for him to return but no...he only returned at about 8pm so the food was all cold by then. But kudos to the invention of the microwave oven and within minutes, food can turn hot again!

Overall the night went well I guess. He was happy and so was I. Now I'm looking forward to my birthday...hehe...
Then yesterday (22nd Oct) was Lay Poh's birthday and so I organized a surprise thing again at Applebees for her. I don't have pictures because I forgot to bring my camera along....arrgghh! And she bloged about it so for more info, visit her blog k? And I'm glad you had a great time~!
By the way, I also cut my fringe and so my new hairstyle now....
